Truong Son Cemetery
Truong Son Martyrs Cemetery is located on the hills of Ben Off, next to Highway 15, located in Vinh Truong Commune, Gio Linh district; a provincial center (Dong Ha town) approximately 38km north west; National Highway 1A (at paragraph townships Gio Linh) just over 20km north west.

Truong Son Martyrs Cemetery is a place of gathering 10 333 graves of the martyrs; have a total area of 140.000m2; in that tomb area is 23.000m2, 7.000m2 monument zones, green zones 60,000m2 plant, the aquarium 35,000m2 and asphalted roads network in cemetery 15,000m2 campus. Part of the land is divided into 10 graves main area.
Truong Son Martyrs Cemetery is the resting place of eternal warriors sacrificed on the Ho Chi Minh Trail during the war against America. This is a work of Gratitude most massive, most scale with high art, an expression of deep longing, gratitude and honor the secret of the entire Party, army and people we respect with the beloved children in all parts of the country did not spare blood and bones for the struggle liberation and unification.
To celebrate the 40 year anniversary of Truong Son army (05.19.1959 - 19.05.1999), the Party and the State have decided to upgrade and renovate the Truong Son cemetery includes many items: Truong Son cemetery entrance, roads and walled headquarters model, a symbol of the local, the cluster phenomenon, sewerage system, electricity internally, planting trees around the cemetery and the house festivities, national radio public record ... So far all of the items of basic construction has been completed.
Truong Son Martyrs Cemetery today is not only the resting place of the heroic martyrs but also a place of worship, is a shining symbol of revolutionary heroism, the spirit, the will to struggle for toxic established and peaceful aspirations of our people. Truong Son Martyrs Cemetery is not only a place for the martyrs, the delegation of the Party and the State, local authorities visited and conducted gratitude but also a place of pilgrimage of people all over the country and international friends traditionally lofty morals of the people of Vietnam: drinking water, remember its source.
Currently, the Truong Son martyrs cemetery has 24 officers and staff regularly care for the custody, maintenance and welcomed the martyrs, the domestic and foreign delegations to visit
